I don't measure anything. i just eyeball it until the mixture feels right. Bake at 350 for about an hour. YUM

I use the one on the back of the Lipton onion soup mix, too! Except I cut the ingredients in half, 2 lbs of meat is way too much for my needs.

My mother used to put a little ketchup on top as a glaze. When I have some calories left in the day, I put some cheese on the slice, it tastes like a cheeseburger with onion! Use cheddar or american, as you wish. My Dad used to love cold meatloaf sandwiches, bet he would have loved the cheese idea.

I tried to roll up some cheddar cheese inside of the loaf, but it all bubbled out.

This is how I make my meatloaf and everyone loves it. :) I get a pound and a half, or pound of ground beef and put it in a mixing bowl. I rip up pieces of bread, maybe 2-3 slices, squirt some mustard in there, chop up some onion, some celery and grate some carrot. Add one egg and mix up with your hands. Then I put it in a loaf sized pyrex and load up the ketchup on top, then put it in the oven. It's a masterpiece. The egg helps keep everything together and I promise the celery and onion come out SOOO delicious.
