Meatloaf recipe that doesnt have katchup or tomato sauce in it?

my 17 month old is alergic to tomatoes...and i cant find a meatloaf recipe that doesnt have katchup or tomato sauce in it.? anyone know of one? thanksMeatloaf recipe that doesnt have katchup or tomato sauce in it?
My son is allergic to tomatoes as well so I usually set aside a portion of the meat mixed with the bread crumbs and parmesan and seasonings and form a miniature loaf for him then I bake my meatloaf as usual with tomato sauce. He sometimes likes to have a little brown gravy with his but usually he's content to have it plain. He calls it his personal pan meatloaf.Meatloaf recipe that doesnt have katchup or tomato sauce in it?
I never put ketchup or tomato sauce in meatloaf. Neither one of them have any seasonings and ketchup is too sweet. I just mix 1 to 1-1/2 lbs. of 96/4 ground sirloin, with 1 egg and some seasoned bread crumbs. Depending how I feel, I'll season it with a package of dry onion soup mix - OR - add basil, oregano, garlic, salt %26amp; pepper; and lay a fresh rosemary sprig on top. If you think it's a little dry, just add a bit of milk:) If you want to ';baste'; the top, you can use a mesquite or hickory marinade; an Italian salad dressing; or just a little Worchestershire sauce or balsamic vinegar. I cover it with foil and bake at 375 about 45 min; uncover and bake another 15 min or so (depending on size)
This recipe is very simple and flavorful. You can also top it with cream of mushroom soup.

Stovetop Stuffing Meatloaf

Ingredients:

2 lb ground beef

1 pkg (6oz) StoveTop Stuffing Mix (any flavor)

1 c water

2 eggs, beaten

Procedure:

1. Preheat oven to 375潞F.

2. Mix all ingredients

3. Shape meat mixture into 2 oval loaves, side by side, in a 13'; x 9'; baking dish.

4. Bake for 35 minutes or until center is no longer pink.

Yields: 6 to 8 servings.
2 lbs ground beef or ground turkey, or 1 lb of each

2 eggs

1/2 cup milk

1/2 cup breadcrumbs

1 teaspoon dried mustard

1 teaspoon dried ground sage

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon pepper

Mix all ingredients and place into greased loaf pan. Bake at 350 for an hour or until done.

(The original recipe calls for a glaze of ketchup and brown sugar, but I never put it on, and it always tastes great---my family LOVES this meatloaf!)
I never use either ketchup or tomato sauce to make meatloaf.

I use a beef/veal/pork or beef/lamb/pork mix and I add 2 slices of bread, cubed (Multi grain is awesome) 1 med. onion diced, 1 tsp. garlic powder and 1 large egg. Bake at 375 for about 40-45 minutes.

There are all sorts of variations, experiment and see what your family likes You can substitute oatmeal for the bread and add other spices or add diced green pepper and grated carrot.

Go to Recipezaar.com and type in meatloaf and you will find oodles of great recipes.
This is really good, and thankfully no tomatoes for me either.

2 pounds ground beef

2 cups seasoned bread crumbs

1 small red onion, minced

3 eggs

Salt, pepper, garlic powder to taste

Several slices of deli ham and provolone

Mix up the beef through the seasonings. Pat out into a rectangle no wider than a loaf pan on a sheet of wax paper. Layer with some ham slices, then provolone. Gently roll up using the wax paper to guide it. Place in a greased loaf pan seam side down. Bake at 350F for an hour or until done.

I swear it's the most simple and best meatloaf ever.
All I do is take a package of ground beef, add in 2 or 3 eggs, some saltine crackers, diced onion and some salt and pepper. Mix it all up, place it in a greased pan and cook...
Believe it or not, warm water.

Add 3/4 a cup of warm water for every pound and a half of ground, and it will turn out super moist every time.
Just use a recipe that sounds good and leave out the ketchup. My father adds applesauce to his.
You don't even need to use it.
