Grated Romano Cheese

Some variations you can add Sage to the meatloaf...Rachel Ray has some good meatloaf ideas...she even makes 4 small ones that way you can start by pan frying them on both sides, then popping it in the oven for 10-15 mins to cook through saves lots of time...good luck!
ground beef, a few dashes garlic, seasoned salt, bbq sauce in place of ketchup. Add 2 eggs to the combo, 2 slices of bread to keep meat together and bake for an hour and a half...voila...delish!
Sorry about the roughness of this, but for my meatloaf I do not use measuring cups, just guestimates. Ground beef, some bread crumbs, a couple eggs, some milk, seasoned salt, pepper, onion powder, tore up bread (a few slices) (have heard of some people using stuffing mix instead), a little bit of chili sauce. Make a loaf and put more chili sauce and or ketchup on the top. Can also put a couple of slices of raw bacon over the top. Place in oven and bake. Have also heard of adding some cheese to the loaf too, but haven't tried it. Also try recipegoldmine.com or allrecipes.com. Happy eating!
If i told you i would have to kill you!! Just kidding....this is what i do and it's always gone by the end of the meal. It goes over great at potlucks too.

I don't measure anything so you will have to experiment on the amounts.

Wash your hands good and take off any jewelry you are worried about getting icky stuff stuck in it.

Put the hamburger in a large mixing bowl.

Mix in either onion soup mix or ranch flavored dip mix (depends on your taste) If you make larger meatloaf you will want to use two bags of the mix.

shake on some garlic powder (again depends on how much you like the taste of garlic how much you put in)

Take a bottle of BBQ sauce (any flavor) squirt some in

pancake syrup- squirt some in, only small amounts at time. If you add too much it will be clumpy.

Then using your hands mix it all together really good. At this point you will be able to tell if there is enough of the BBQ sauce and syrup in there. If it looks a bit dry then add a little more in.

Then put in the pan and bake at normal meatloaf temp.

This may sound a bit strange, but it taste yummy!!! Very moist and full of flavor. I also add shredded cheese to mine before mixing it in. Kind of fattening mixture, but very yummy!

Good luck!!

I just bought this community church cookbook and they have this recipe for a meatloaf that I cant wait to try. It sounds unique and different. I am going to try it tonight. Here is the recipe.

Clare's meatloaf

1/2 c. Grape-Nuts cereal

1 pound hamburger

1/4 c. chopped onion

1/2 c. water

1 egg, slightly beaten

1/2 tsp. salt

Mix Grape Nuts and water; let stand for 2-3 minutes. Combine rest of ingredients; mix well. In a greased pan, shape into loaf. Bake one hour at 350'. To get moist loaf, cover with aluminum foil for first 30 minutes and then remove.

EDIT: I made this meatloaf tonight and it was really delicious and VERY moist. I baked my meatloaf for 50 minutes instead of an hour. So you may need to adjust the time for your meatloaf. I also made a gravy using the pan drippings. My family loved it. This recipe is definitely a keeper. I think next time I make it I am going to add Italian Seasoning to it.
