Does anyone has a good meatloaf recipe?

1 1/2 lbs lean ground beef


3 slices soft white bread, torn into very tiny pieces


1 cup V8 vegetable juice


1 medium onion, finely chopped


2 tablespoons chopped parsley


1 egg, beaten


1 teaspoon salt


1/4 teaspoon pepper


1 (1 1/4 ounce) package Lipton Onion Soup Mix (do not substitute)


1-2 minced garlic clove

preheat oven to 350F, mix ingredients thoroughly, press into small roasting pan or loaf pan.

INGREDIENTS


1 1/2 pounds ground beef


1/2 cup crushed buttery round crackers


3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese


1 (1 ounce) package dry onion soup mix


2 eggs, beaten


1/4 cup ketchup


2 tablespoons steak sauce





DIRECTIONS


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).


Stir the ground beef, crushed crackers, Cheddar cheese, and onion soup mix in a large bowl until well combined. Whisk the eggs, ketchup, and steak sauce in a separate bowl until smooth. Mix the eggs into the meat until evenly combined, if the mixture seems too dry, add a little water. Press into a 9x5 inch loaf pan.


Bake in preheated oven until the meatloaf reaches 160 degrees F (71 degrees C) and is no longer pink in the center, 45 to 60 minutes.

Grandma's Meatloaf

This meatloaf is an old-fashioned favorite, made with lean ground beef, chili sauce, oats, and other ingredients and seasonings.





INGREDIENTS:





* 1 tablespoon vegetable oil


* 2 ribs celery, chopped


* 1/2 cup chopped onion


* 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef or 1 pound lean


* ground beef and 1/2 pound ground pork


* 3/4 cup oats, quick or old-fashioned


* 1/4 cup chili sauce or ketchup


* 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce


* 1 1/2 teaspoon salt


* 1 large egg, beaten


* 3 tablespoons water or milk





PREPARATION:


Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped celery and onion; cook, stirring, until tender, about 7 to 9 minutes.





In a large bowl, mix ground beef or beef and pork mixture, oats, chili sauce or ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, beaten egg, celery and onion mixture, and the water or milk.





In a 13x9-inch baking pan, shape meat mixture into a 9x5-inch loaf. Bake at 375掳 for 1 hour. Using 2 spatulas, carefully move meat loaf to a serving plate and slice.


Serves 6 to 8.








Chili Cheese Meatloaf

This spicy meatloaf is made with ground spicy sausage and lean ground beef, chili style seasonings, shredded cheese, and salsa.





INGREDIENTS:





* 2 eggs, slightly beaten


* 1 pound bulk pork sausage, spicy


* 1 pound very lean ground beef


* 1/4 cup chopped onion


* 1 cup quick-cooking oats


* 2 teaspoons garlic salt


* 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin


* 1/2 teaspoon ground coriander


* 1 cup shredded Cheddar or Monterey Jack cheese


* 1 cup chunky salsa


* salsa for topping, optional


* cheese for topping, optional





PREPARATION:


Preheat oven to 350掳. With hands, gently combine all ingredients except topping options in a mixing bowl. Shape into a loaf and place in baking dish or loaf pan; bake for 1 to 1 1/2 hours, until cooked through.


Serves 6 to 8.
I like to use half ground turkey and half ground beef. It's less fat and more tender. like to use fresh garlic, onions, bell peppers, and use black pepper. 2 tsp of oatmeal and one egg tokeep it from falling apart while it (you don't even taste it) Some people use barbecue sauc fo the sauce but I likeplain ole brown gravy
1lb hamburger


1 package of onion soup mix


half cup oat meal


1 egg


mix all ingredients really well together put in pan cover if you don't like the top to be crusty you can add ketchup or your favorite BBQ sauce bake at 350 for 30 to45 min. it depends on you oven.
2 lbs hamburger or ground turkey


1/2 cup crushed saltine crackers


1/4 onion, chopped


1/2 tsp garlic, minced


2 eggs, beaten


1 can tomato sauce





Topping


1 can condensed tomato soup


2 tbsp. prepared yellow mustard


2 tbsp. splenda brown sugar substitute or brown sugar





In bowl, combine beef, onion, garlic, eggs, tomato sauce and crackers. Mix well and pat into baking dish or cast iron skillet. Bake 1 hr at 400, drain off grease. Mix topping ingredients and pour over meatloaf, bake another 30 minutes at 350 degrees.
Easy Meatloaf





2 pounds lean ground beef


1 (6 ounce) package STOVE TOP Stuffing Mix for Chicken


1 cup water


2 eggs, beaten


1/2 cup KRAFT Original Barbecue Sauce, divided

















2. Cooking Directions


Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Mix all ingredients except 1/4 cup of the barbecue sauce.


Shape meat mixture into oval loaf in 13x9-inch baking dish; top with remaining 1/4 cup barbecue sauce.


Bake 1 hour or until cooked through (160F).


Yield: 8 servings

i love this site...not only does it have several different recipes, it has photos and reviews of others who have made it (who happen to suggest different things)
