The trick to a good meatloaf is not to play with the meat that much. I mix all the ingredient's first...a cup of salsa, some bread crumbs, an egg, some parm. cheese, salt, pepper, Italian spices and BBQ sauce. Then add it to the hamburger and mix gently and quickly. I can't give you exact amounts because in our family they don't exist...just add by sight what looks right. If you put half of the meat in the pan and then put some bleu cheese crumbles, or bacon strips, or ham and provolone, it defiantly adds taste and a bit of a surprise to boring meatloaf. Good luckGood meatloaf recipes?

We found one that we really like on the back of a Stovetop Stuffing for Pork box. It uses stuffing instead of just bread crumbs.
I really like Liz B.'s recipe. My family makes it the same way with 3-4 TBS of Heinz 57 sauce in the mix. It's kinda random, but it is the only mealoaf I will make or eat.

i always liked this one. the turkey isn't as heavy as beef and between the turkey meat and the sauce on top, it's a little sweeter and offers a nice contrast to say mashed potatoes you might serve on the side. enjoy.
